The Reality We Create in Our Minds

We don’t always experience things as they are. We experience them as we see them.

Two people can go through the same situation and come away with completely different experiences.

One sees a problem.
Another sees a possibility.

One feels rejected.
Another sees an experience gained.

The event may be the same.
The reality they experience can be very different.

This talk explores the role our thoughts, assumptions, beliefs and interpretations play in shaping our everyday experience.

It asks us to look at something we rarely question:

How much of the reality we experience is created by what happens around us,
and how much is created by what happens inside our minds?

Changing the way we see something can change the experience itself.
